Welcome to Mobile Animal Surgical Care, Co. (MASC).  We are a mobile veterinary surgical hospital, providing advanced surgical services to pets in Bloomington and the surrounding areas. MASC was founded by Dr. Brian Thunberg in November 2016 with the goal to provide the highest quality professional and personalized surgical care, in conjunction with your primary veterinarian, in an environment and with people with which your pet is already familiar.  We believe that this creates a less stressful experience for both you and your pet, which in turn leads to better outcomes.

Our mobile veterinary surgical hospital is well equipped with advanced equipment and technologies to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. Our facility has the equipment to provide comprehensive in house lab testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, and a fully equipped surgical suite.

At Mobile Animal Surgical Care, Co., we understand how special your pet is to you and we promise to treat each patient as if he or she were one of our own furry family members. Since we typically perform only one to two surgeries per day, your fur baby will receive the undivided attention of our staff throughout his or her stay with us.  Most procedures are performed on an outpatient basis, with your primary veterinarian and their team assisting with postoperative care until your pet goes home.  In most cases, your primary veterinarian will perform any needed follow up care such as suture/staple removal or recheck radiographs.

In some cases, your veterinarian may prefer that MASC provides all aftercare for your pet.  In those cases, we offer the option of bringing our mobile surgical hospital to your home (provided there is ample space to maneuver/park the hospital), or you may bring your pet to us for care.  Please call for additional details.
